Woods and Golf Digest part ways

Golf Digest has announced that they are ending their 13-year relationship with Tiger Woods.





The announcement comes only two weeks after Gillette announced that Woods would also no longer be working them. It is the fifth sponsorship the former world number one has lost since damaging revelations about his personal life first became public in 2009. (Callaway Diablo Octane Tour Driver)



"Golf Digest and Tiger Woods have mutually agreed to stop his monthly bylined articles," said Golf Digest editor in chief Jerry Tarde in a statement. "We appreciate the insights Tiger has provided to our readers."



Woods, who writes a monthly column for the magazine, will see his last piece published in the February issue. Though he took a five-month hiatus from writing the column during his self-imposed hiatus from the game last year, he had returned to regular duties last September.
